There is nothing better than summertime in Michigan. After the long and brutally cold winter we experienced this year I am even more grateful for the recent warm weather and blue skies. I feel I’ve been waiting months for the weather to break and to explore the city again. Here’s a list of things I’m most looking forward to this summer!
- Finally taking advantage of the pool and lounge area on the roof of my apartment building
- Catching the newest country artists at the annual Downtown Hoedown
- Checking out movies in the park at New Center Park
- Buying a bike and riding in my first Slow Roll
- Helping to coordinate the Live Downtown Games for Marketing Associates and watching the competitions
- Catching The Book of Mormon at the Detroit Opera House
- Attending my first Detroit City game
