I live for those spontaneous days. You know, those days that are packed with so much unplanned fun that you and your friends find yourselves saying, \u201cRemember that time when…?\u201d for months and years to come. I\u2019m happy to say I\u2019ve had several of these ridiculously fun, PLAY days in my 28 years of life, but I would be remiss if I didn\u2019t share the one I had with my fellow Challenge Detroit Fellows!<\/p>\n

\"Nothing<\/a>

Nothing like a randomly fun night in the D<\/p><\/div>\n

Allow me to take you back to a cold, rainy Friday in October. Winter was tapping on Detroit\u2019s shoulder, but that didn\u2019t stop the Fellows from wanting to get out and play. After a full day of working on increasing food access with October\u2019s Challenge partner, United Way<\/a>, we were ready to unwind from the workweek. A randomly assembled group of us (read: texting everyone and rolling with whomever wanted to go) decided to check out LIV Resto | Lounge (L!V),<\/a> a lively lounge in the heart of downtown. We all squeezed into my car (I won\u2019t even tell you how many people were in there), drove over and scurried into the lounge. Upon entry, L!V is a pretty small, unassuming place, but it was so full of energy. The DJ was great, the people were fun, and, let me tell you, that was one of the best nights I\u2019ve ever had. We danced the night away and had so much fun. About once a month, one of us who was there that night will say, \u201cRemember that night we went to that lounge? So much fun!\u201d<\/p>\n
