Between starting a new position, meetings tons of [wonderful] new people, and learning what it actually means to be a Challenge Detroit fellow, it\u2019s been hard to keep up. So now I turn to one my favorite past times when life feels disorderly: making lists!<\/p>\n<p>As we have been introduced to so many wonderful people, places, and causes in the D, I decided that the best way to start would be to make a Bucket List of all of the things that I would like to do during my Challenge Detroit year.<\/p>\n<p>While some items on the list may be clich\u00e9, I\u2019ve learned a little more about the city and myself from each exploration yet [Heidelberg][Eastern Market][People Mover][Slows][Comerica][Packard Plant][Detroit Soup]. Wright Museum<\/p>\n<p>See a show at the Masonic Temple<\/p>\n<p>Ice skate at Campus Martius<\/p>\n<p>Go to a Lions home game<\/p>\n<p>Go to the John K. King bookstore<\/p>\n<p>Go to the Hines Park Lightfest*<\/p>\n<p>Go to Noal Night on Woodward*<\/p>\n<p>Have a picnic on Belle Isle<\/p>\n<p>Go to Baker\u2019s Keyboard Lounge<\/p>\n<p>See a Red Wings game at The Joe<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>*Note: the events with asterisks are extra exciting for me because I absolutely love Christmas!<\/p>\n<p>Please make suggestions of what I can add!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello all!
