As an aspiring business owner, I am learned that successful people are those who never stop short to the finish line. Throughout my career, I’ve strived to stay consistent about consistency in all that I do. Even businesses and services fail which is mainly due to the lack of dedication to consistency.<\/p>\n

If I say I’m going to do something, I do it. If I say I’m going to be somewhere, I’m there. If a client request something that is taxing on my time, I must do it. If I initiate a new business process or initiative, I follow through. In my experience, consistency is a must as you build and grow your business.<\/p>\n

Here’s why:<\/p>\n

  1. Without consistency success is not measureable!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Until I have tried something new for a period of time and in a consistent manner, I then decide if it works or not.\u00a0Without consistency, success is not measurable.<\/p>\n

    2. Consistency creates accountability.<\/p>\n

    I \u00a0remind myself that accountability for deliverables and goals are best when complete in time. I work to establish consistent and recurring touch points\u00a0when a project or aspect of the business requires attention. The ultimate\u00a0fact that there is a set time to report on progress is often the determining factor\u00a0that moves an initiative along to a successful end.<\/p>\n

    3. Consistency establishes your reputation.<\/p>\n

    I’ve learned that business growth requires a track record of success. \u00a0I can not establish a track record if I am are constantly shifting gears or trying new tactics. Sometimes it is important to complete one task before moving to the next.<\/p>\n
