Reflecting on June<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s strange to think I have been living in Detroit for ten months. In some ways, it seems like just yesterday I was moving into my apartment.<\/p>\n

This last month has been full of moments in Detroit with some of my favorite people. See below for a few of the highlights.<\/p>\n

I really enjoy taking friends and family to Brooklyn Street Local<\/a>, one of my favorite brunch locations.<\/p>\n

Another favorite stop for me is Sister Pie<\/a> and La Boheme<\/a> in West Village.<\/p>\n

Detroit Tigers game\u2026 need I say more?<\/p>\n

Experiencing the West Village community garden and reaping its benefits was pretty great.<\/p>\n

Catching up with a friend over sushi at Maru<\/a> was good for the soul.<\/p>\n

Working with some amazing people who serve at Goodwill.<\/p>\n
