Levy. I am two months into the official Challenge Detroit Year and I have been having a lot of fun at work. I mentioned before Levy is a great place to work and here are a few reasons why.<\/p>\n<p>1)\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>My work of course!<\/strong> My official title is \u201ceLearning Designer.\u201d I work with a team of 2 others to create online learning material for the company. Our job is to boil down heavy content into step-by-step guides called a job aids. The goal is to make it simple, and easy to understand for anyone- including someone intimidated by technology.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/challengedetroit.org\/alyssabrown\/files\/2014\/10\/IMG_0736.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-26 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/challengedetroit.org\/alyssabrown\/files\/2014\/10\/IMG_0736-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_0736\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>2)\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>\u00a0The Caf\u00e9!<\/strong> Levy\u2019s main office has this really unique cafeteria in the office. It\u2019s decorated in a 1950s retro diner-style and it is <em>adorable<\/em>! Which matches the whole company culture. Small things are always popping up to brighten people\u2019s day- like an ice cream party for our COO\u2019s Birthday with a marching band and clown or company-wide photo contests. It\u2019s their way of making work fun and it\u2019s great to embrace it.<\/p>\n<p>3)\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Location!<\/strong> Levy is set right on the edge of Dearborn. Sandwiched between Mexicantown and Dearborn 2 fabulous foodie destinations! Doesn\u2019t hurt that it\u2019s only a 12 minute drive from Midtown.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_5\" style=\"width: 594px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/challengedetroit.org\/alyssabrown\/files\/2014\/09\/FullSizeRender-2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5\" class=\"size-large wp-image-5\" src=\"http:\/\/challengedetroit.org\/alyssabrown\/files\/2014\/09\/FullSizeRender-2-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"In my zone!\" width=\"584\" height=\"438\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-5\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">In my zone!<\/p><\/div>\n<p>4)\u00a0<strong> Legacy.<\/strong> People of Levy are loyal employees&#8211;that says a lot about a company. Both former fellows have stayed with Levy after their fellowship ended. Which seems a novel concept to me since my norm the last 6 years has been moving every year and never having all my possessions in one place. It gives me hope to think it worked out so well for them\u2014maybe a garage and large closets aren\u2019t too far off.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bonus #5! The people!\u00a0<\/strong>Did I mention I have a pretty\u00a0fun team??
